It's time for new solutions. It's time for new voices. Change begins with us.
It's time.

Our federal government has gutted Medicaid and food assistance. Today's economy only works for those at the top. That leaves local government as the last line of defense, and in Chicago, that means your alderman. And for 30 years, one political family has ruled the 27th Ward, putting their needs, and the needs of developers, ahead of yours.
It's time we change that.

Meet Nate

WEST WARREN IS MY BLOCK. THE 27TH WARD IS MY HOME.

I moved to Chicago in 2013 and have lived on the West Side for the majority of the past 13 years. Before we were married, my wife and I rented an apartment in the West Loop, and in 2020 we bought a home in the Near West Side on the 2300 block of West Warren. I've been an active member of this community, coaching youth basketball, mentoring high school kids, and leading my neighborhood association. I've also spent my career proving that government, in the right hands, can be a force for good. Now I want to prove it here, in the ward I call home.

The Power to Close the Gap

Aldermen and women wield a tremendous amount of power. That power can close the gaps that exist in our communities: between development and disinvestment, between wealth and poverty, between unity and division. The resources, the programs, and the opportunities are there, but what's missing is the vision, the courage, and the leadership. These are the commitments at the center of my campaign, and the issues this race needs to be about.

Development That Delivers For Residents

The 27th Ward is in the middle of one of the biggest development booms in Chicago. But ride the Madison bus across this ward and you'll pass neighborhoods still waiting for any of it to show up on their block. Growth isn't the problem. Who benefits from it is.

Safer Neighborhoods Through Policing and Prevention

Cities only work when people feel safe. Since my wife and I bought our home on the 2300 block of West Warren, we've experienced this firsthand. Safety is the precondition for everything else, and the research shows this problem is more solvable than the headlines suggest.

Give Our Young People Some Hope

When teenagers flood neighborhoods across Chicago, the city's response is always the same: shut it down. The conversation that follows is entirely about how to stop it from happening again, not about why it keeps happening in the first place.

A Government That Listens, Shows Up, and Works

Most people's experience of government isn't a policy, it's a phone call that goes unanswered, a form they can't figure out, a meeting they never heard about. This ward deserves better, and I've spent my career making exactly this kind of change happen.
